This is a blog where I write about iPhone, iPod, and iPad Apps. I have been creating my “App of the Week” and “Four for Fun App of the Week” lists and emails since July 2009. Prior to this blog, I emailed them to people all over the country.
This all started because I’m a Realtor with Keller Williams Realty and I got an iPhone. Because I’m a techie person and like to play with new technology, people always asked me about how do do things with their iPhones. Since I teach so many classes for real estate anyway, I decided to create a class for the iPhone. This has been a huge success! Many people have asked me to help them with their iPhones. I have fixed emails in the airport, given tips on the plane, and shown softball mom’s how to do cool things while at practice. I know your probably wondering “What do you get out of this?” Well, simply, satisfaction of helping others. I don’t get paid for doing the app of the week, that is totally on my own and just because I want to. I’m not an employee of App in any way and I don’t make commission on people purchasing an iPhone because they came to a class, although if Apple wants to send me some prototype or give a discount on new things, I’m not opposed to that!
You could say I have taken the iPhone to extreme. I’m on my second iPhone (first one was passed to my husband) and looking forward to getting the iPhone 4!! I’m now a proud to be a MAC user and recently added an iPad to my list of tech toys. I’m even typing this message on my iPad.
